ZiPhone 2.5 is now on download site for

you all to enjoy.

I decided to release it for everyone since MANY

are helping supporting sponsors.

And it would not have been fair to them.

I suggest you to do a restore to 1.1.4

not an update. Because installer keeps old

installed apps in it's cache and you would have problems.

Hoping people at nullriver software resolve that soon.

After restore to 1.1.4, just use "ziphone -Z Y" or the first

button on GUI versions.

Asa cum am spus de multe ori, ZiPhone nu a fost facut pentru

iTouch. dar asa cum stii... cele doua sunt similare...

"Problema" cu iTouch 1.1.3 este ca bootloader-ul

e putin diferit. ieri am inceput sa-l fac bucati.

20 minute mai tarziu am gasit exact ceea ce ma asteptam sa gasesc.

Lasa-ma sa mai fac niste teste pentru ca solutia sa fie una sigura.

stirile vor veni in curind.

Update:

poate ca eram prea obosit. ... dar nimic din ce am incercat nu merge.

Asa ca am folosit o parte din banii donati si am comandat un iTouch de 32Gb.

O sa vina in citeva zile...

te tin la curent, ca de obicei...

Poti sa dai restore la telefon pentru a-l face ca nou doar apasind butonul:
ziphone -e

si poi butonul ziphone -D pentru un "full restore" in orice sistem de operare. (aviz amatorilor de ... furturi!)

Iata citeva greseli comune:

iTunes nu trebuie oprit fortat. ZiPhone este impotriva actelor de violenta :)
doar ignora-l.

Utilizatorii OSX folosesc deseori vmware.

ZiPhone si iTunes trebuie sa ruleze sub acelasi OS.

Cind faci un full restore cu optiunea -D option, seteaza

telefonul ca unul nou in iTunes and sincronizeaza toate

datele. Aceasta este una dintre cele mai comune greseli.

Motivul: datele salvate de pe telefoanele trecute prin Jailbreak nu merg cu 1.1.3.

Cind deschizi Installer prima data apasa refresh sources, apoi instaleaza BSD Subsystem

din categoria System inainte de orice!

Daca ai probleme cu prea putin spatiu ramas pe partitia primara a iPhone (low space issue), foloseste utilitarul din Installer care muta directorul "application"pe partitia mare ajutindu-te in acest fel sa instalezi cite aplicatii poti duce :)

daca vrei iconitza Z inapoi dupa ce ai sters-o, exista o optiune "secreta" care o aduce inapoi.

optiunile din ZiPhone sunt case sensitive! Am facut asta

intentionat pentru a determina oamenii sa citeasca si sa fie atenti inainte de a apasa pe un buton.

Va rog sa primiti scuzele mele.
Un bug din 2.1 nu permitea icoanei "Z" sa fie stearsa
si a cauzat alte probleme minore.
A fost doar o greseala.
La download veti gasi acum ZiPhone 2.2.
Nu e nimic schimbat. doar bu-ul a fost scos.

Si acum putina odihna... apoi revin cu functii noi in doar citeva zile.

Atentie:

ZiPhone nu a blocat nici un iPhone pina acum.

Utilizatorii care au IPSF sau 'freeipsf' nu pot face upgrade la 4.03...
pentru ca metoda isf corupe baseband-ul (si apple verifica asta in 4.03)

Poti inca sa folosesti optiunea ziphone -u.

Downloadeaza din nou ZiPhone 2.2 !

Ieri am fost f obosit si am pus un windows.exe gresit in arhiva.

ZiPhone 2.1 este aici sa te ajute...

Iata ZiPhone 2.1.

Am corectat bug-ul cu logo-ul apple.

AM scos optiunea -v (acum booteaza mereu in verbose mode)

Am adaugat o verificare pt zibri.dat.

Am adaugat 2 fisiere .BAT pt incepatorii care folosesc windows :)

Am updatat README.txt

versiunea pt OSX e si ea updatata.

ZiPhone 2.0 !!! (game over!)

ZiPhone v2.0 is finally OUT.

In the command line version, you will find a new

option "-b" be very careful with that!

I take no responsability if you brick your phone!

ZiPhone -b will downgrade bootloader from 4.6 to 3.9,

flash 4.03.13_G baseband version and

unlock it (in one shot!).

It worked for me on 2 ootb 1.1.2 phones.

It will work on 1.1.3 ootb phones too.

Other options are unchanged.

Do not forget to donate!

The future of ZiPhone will depend on you also !

If you can't code, or contribute in other ways,

just donate.

I think we won't need another version till the next firmware release :)

Try to use: ZiPhone -v -b

That solved the problem for many people.

ZiPhone 1.2 is OUT !!!

It now unlocks both 4.6 and 3.9 BL.
And it's autosensing.. just use -u !

Bugs?!

Well i did this test:

1) entered DFU (black screen) mode.
2) fully restored to 1.1.3.
3) shutdown the phone and reboot.
4) run: ziphone -a -j -u from command line (latest archive)

The phone rebooted after 2 minutes.
Everything is ok.
Youtube works.

Then:
1) open installer.
2) update community sources.
3) goto System category and install BSD Subsystem.
4) in System category install openssh as well.

My pc is running windows XP sp2 with all patches.
Itunes 7.5 (completely uninstall itunes 7.6 http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93698 ) then install 7.5 (i think 7.4.3 will work too)

And of course the latest archive of ziphone.
Unzip it in a directory.
Then
1) open command prompt
2) cd to that directory
3) ziphone -a -j -u

Do not close itunes after restore.
Do not touch it's window.
Just wait 2 minutes.

Note:
When a new version of ZiPhone comes out,
delete the old version (the whole directory)
And use the new archive.
ZiPhone and zibri.dat must be of the same archive.

ZiPhone 1.1 OUT. (mac version too !) (link fixed)

no more need for recovery mode!
no more "difficult" things :)
just run ziphone and it will do everything for you :)

Actual program requirements for windows:

I use itunes 7.5 and a directory with the archive linked above for the tests.
I never had a problem and tested all options.

Since you reported some problems, I am now restoring a phone to 113 and launching ziphone -a -j -u ...

By the way, after restore the phone must be shutdown and rebooted before running ziphone (maybe you missed this step)

I'll keep you posted.

To use it, upgrade the baseband then

put the iPhone in airplane mode and run it !

It works also in JB 113 OS...
